A lightstream debt consolidation loan costs 9.99% to 23.94% APR with autopay (LightStream). An offer above the 11.9% bank loan average costs you more each month (Federal Reserve G.19).

The first thing to do is call a specialist. They set your card rates beside your LightStream offer, then compare it with the lender options below.

Rates and loan sizes

With autopay, the top LightStream price is 23.94% APR. Only PenFed, a credit union, tops out lower among the 16 lenders we compare. LightStream does not lend to people it would have to charge 30%.

Without autopay, you pay 0.50 points more. The highest APR of all is 25.44% (LightStream). Loans run from $5,000 to $100,000, and terms for paying off debt run 24 to 84 months.

LightStream’s own example is $10,000 at 9.99% over 3 years. That costs $322.62 a month.

On $15,000 over four years, the LightStream range means a payment of $380 to $489 a month. At the 11.9% bank average, the payment is $394 (Federal Reserve G.19).

An offer near the top costs more each month than the bank average. Call and the specialist checks your offer against that $394 before you sign.

Credit score needed

LightStream saves its lowest price for borrowers with a strong record. It says excellent credit is required for that rate.

From April to June 2026, at least 33% of approved people who sought that rate got it (LightStream). That figure does not predict any one person’s rate or odds of approval.

Fees

LightStream charges nothing to open the loan and nothing if you pay it off early.

If you live in Florida, you pay a documentary stamp tax of just over $35 per $10,000. That tax is added to the loan (LightStream).

Under its Rate Beat terms, LightStream offers to beat a rival unsecured loan rate by 0.10 points. So a lower offer from another lender still helps you here. Call and the specialist lines up those offers against yours.

How fast you get the money

LightStream can send the funds on the day you apply, if that day is a banking day. You must apply, be approved and finish verification on that same banking day (LightStream).

The funds go to your bank account. You then pay off the cards yourself.

Who the LightStream debt consolidation loan fits

The $5,000 minimum and the autopay price matter most in any comparison. If your card balances total less than $5,000, this lender cannot cover them.

Approval rests on the lender’s review, not on a guessed score cutoff. LightStream is part of Truist.
