How this loan calculator figures it

Payment = amount × r ÷ (1 − (1 + r)^−months), where r is the yearly rate divided by 12. Total interest is the payment times the months, minus the amount, and the payoff date counts from a first payment in November 2026. The default rate is 11.9%, the Fed’s bank average for a 24-month personal loan. It comes from the Fed’s G.19 release.

This loan calculator shows that $10,000 at 11.9% for three years costs $332 a month. A rate above 11.9% raises both the payment and the interest on the same amount and term.

Put your total card balance in Loan amount, then your rate and term. Then call, and a specialist goes through your result and every loan offer with you for free.
